A bacterial film normally forms at the water surface of aquaria inhibiting gas exchange and often forming an unpleasant scum.
The Skim Box is a Surface Skimmer which removes the film and consequently improves the oxygen supply to the aquarium.
The Skim Box must be connected with a pump (not included) up to 2000 l/h (c. 500 gph). Recommended the Aqua Medic PF 1000 and PH 2000.
